Peacefully, in the loving care of all at Cobh Community hospital. Beloved son of the late Cornelius & Margaret McCarthy, dear brother of Margaret & the late Cornelius & Josephine, much – loved uncle of Sylvia, Barry, Neil, Claire, Eithne, Jane & the late Elizabeth & brother in law of Charlie & the late Francis Finbarr Joy & Sheila McCarthy. Sadly, missed & lovingly remembered by his sister, nieces, nephews, grandnephews Alex, Brandan, Mason & Eoghan, grandniece Deirbhile, brother in law, Sylvia’s partner Barry Dolan & his mam Maureen, Claire’s husband Ger, extended family, relatives & friends.

Reposing at Cahill’s funeral home, Newtown Rd., Cobh, on Tuesday 21st of June from 6pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday 22nd of June at 9.30am to St, Colman’s Cathedral for 10am Requiem Mass followed by burial in St. Colman’s Cemetery.
