McConkey, James (Jimmy) - 21st March 2026, (Raheny and formerly of Howth). Long time member of the Forget-me-not Choir and retired employee of CIE. (Peacefully), surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at The Mater Private Hospital. Dearly beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Anne, Roslyn and Angus. Predeceased by his baby son Lorcan and son-in-law Paul. Very sadly missed by his wife, son and daughters, son-in-law Daniel, grandchildren Shane and Gavin, Shane’s wife Elise and Gavin’s partner Lucy, great grandson Harry, sister Mary, brother Paddy, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff in St Elizabeth’s Wards at The Mater Private Hospital for the wonderful care and kindness show to James.

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Strand Road, Portmarnock (D13 E0A2) on Thursday afternoon 26th March from 3-5pm. Removal on Friday morning to Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace Church, Raheny for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.
