James McEnery (Retired Detective Garda), No.1 Market House, Market Road, Killorglin

and late of Kilconlea Lower, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick.

James passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by his loving family on December 6th 2023.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick & Mai Mai & his infant brother Jimmie.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Nuala, adoring daughters Norma & Andrea, cherished grandson Rory Hayes, son-in-law Brian Hayes, Norma’s partner Steve O’ Brien, sisters Kathleen Karr & Elizabeth McCarthy, brother Pat McEnery, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, his in-laws the Hardy family in Caherciveen, many relatives, neighbours, friends & his many former Garda colleagues.

Reposing at Flynn's Funeral Home, Killorglin on Friday evening (Dec. 8th)

from 4.30pm - 6.30pm.

Funeral arriving to St. James’ Church, Killorglin on Saturday morning (Dec. 9th)

for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by a Private Cremation.
