The death has occurred of
James McGroarty Snr
James McGroarty Snr, 24-08-2023. Hartlands Point, Cobh (formerly of Spike Island). Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the Mercy University Hospital nurses and staff. Beloved partner of the late Marie. Much love father of Jason, Shirley, James Jnr and Sharon. Loved son of the late Noreen and Neil McGroarty. Dear brother of the late Johnny, Neil, Dessie, Paul and Peggy. Adored grandfather of Aaron, Shannon, Jamie, Shaun, Kimberley, Ava, Jake, Ryan and the late Jasmine. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons, daughters, daughter in law, grandchildren, brothers Damien and Martin (Sonny), sister Carmel, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reception in St Colman's Cathedral on Monday for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards Private. Mass will be live streamed on https://cobhcathedralparish.ie/mass-streaming/. No flowers please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Mercy University Hospital.
