The death has occurred of James McGuinness

Cortial, Kilkerley (Knockbridge), Co. Louth
24th February 2026

 

Peacefully, in the tender care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Dear son of the late Phelim and Kathleen. Predeceased by his brothers Patsy, Stephen, Anthony and Gerard. Much loved husband of Marie, devoted father of Aidan and father-in-law of Michelle, and adored granda of Cara and Caelan. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his brother Phelie, sisters Julia, Mary, Breige and Evelyn, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

 

Reposing at his residence on Thursday and Friday (26th and 27th February) from 3pm to 9pm.

Removal on Saturday morning (28th February) at 11.30am to St. Mary’s Church, Knockbridge, arriving for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
