James Murphy

On May 27th 2025, peacefully at his home in Reavouler, surrounded by his loving family. James beloved husband and best friend of Teresa Murphy (nee McCarthy). Fond father of, Martha, John, Anthony, Claire, Séamus, Timothy, Catherine and Podge. Fond grandad to Aaron, Caoimhe, Odran, Áine and Elise. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, brothers, Thomas (Tommy), Joe (Tim Joe), Steve and Peter (Pete), son-in-law James (O'Driscoll), daughter-in-law Catherine (Crowley), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Lying in repose at Doolan's Funeral Home, Drinagh (P47K858) on Thursday, May 29th with visitation from 6pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Friday, May 30th at 2pm in The Sacred Heart Church, Drinagh, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

 

At the family's request, there will be no online condolence book.

No sympathising in the Church prior to Funeral Mass, thank you.
