James Nicholas (Jimmy) Byrne

James Nicholas (Jimmy) departed this life suddenly but peacefully on the 19th Dec 2025,

A life well lived to the end, in his 93rd year.

 

Adored husband of Betty, cherished dad to Michael. Thomas. Adrienne and Marguerite.

Daughters in-law Elisa & Mary, sons in-law Dermot & Ger.

Inspiring & witty Dada, to Megan, Anna, Síofra, Shóna, Rían, James, JJ, Evan, Grace, Aoibheann, Alison, Matthew and great grandad to Cullann.

 

Brother to Tom (Liverpool) and pre deceased by his siblings Agnes, Annie, John, Mikie, Liam and Mary.

Sadly missed by his loving family sisters in-laws, brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

 

May he rest in peace.

 

Jimmy will be reposing at Byrne's Funeral Home, Main St. Aughrim. (Eircode Y14T9C4) on Sunday from 2pm - 5pm.

Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11 o' clock at St. Kevin's Church, Ballycoogue, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
