James O'Brien

James O'Brien, Whistlemount, Kells Road, Navan died peacefully on 23rd December 2025, surrounded by his devoted family, in the care of the staff of the Mater Hospital following a long illness, bravely borne.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Mary Gertrude (Beirne), parents Michael and Elizabeth, sisters Mary and Eilish.

Very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter Deirdre and sons Gerard, Derek, Oliver and Brendan, his treasured grandchildren Samuel, James, Anne, Gerard, Breda, Aidan, Isaac, Rachael and Liam, daughters-in-law Breda, Julie, Sara and Heather, son-in-law John, sisters Margaret and Dympna, dear friend Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Fitzsimons Funeral Home, Canon Row, Navan on Sunday evening from 4 o'clock with removal to St. Mary's Church, arriving at 6.30. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11 o'clock followed by burial in St Mary's Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
