James O'Keeffe
It is with deep sadness we announce the death of James O’Keeffe, Mayfield, Cork, who passed away on 6th of February 2026, peacefully after a short illness surrounded by his loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff in Cork University Hospital.
James (Late of McCarthy Commercials, Watergrasshill).
Adored husband of Eileen (née O’Sullivan) and loving father of Niall, Aidan, Eileen, Regina, Carmel, James and Anita.
Predeceased by his parents Con and Nellie, his brother Maurice.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Marie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Keohane’s Funeral Home, Knights Hill, Old Youghal Road, Mayfield, Cork, on Tuesday the 10th, from 5-6pm, with prayers at 5:45pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday the 11th at 11:30am in St Joseph’s Church, Mayfield, Cork, which will be live-streamed at the following link: Here
Followed by Burial in Rathcooney Cemetery.
