The death has occurred of
James O'Neill
O’NEILL (Desert, Clonakilty and late of Bealad, Rossmore): On October 11th 2025 peacefully surrounded by his family in the loving care of the staff at Bantry General Hospital. JAMES (Jim) beloved husband of Rosemarie (nee Sheehan), much loved father of Jennifer, Padraig, Deirdre and Jamie, brother of the late Pat and Nora. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sister Eileen (Burke), sons in law Shane and Ray, grandchildren Ryan, Ethan, Simon, Elliott and Ellen, brother in law Richard, nephew, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Monday, October 13th 2025, from 6pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Tuesday October 14th 2025, at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.
