JAMES O’NEILL Cloontuskert, Lanesborough, Co. Roscommon. June 27th, 2025, (Peacefully), surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness bravely borne, in the devoted care of the staff of Mullingar Regional Hospital.

He will be forever missed by his heartbroken family – his daughter Shauna, son TJ, their mother Margaret, his mother Elizabeth, sisters Ann and Carmel, brother Denis, brothers-in-law Paddy and Bernie, Denis’ partner Marion, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

James is predeceased by his father Tom and his sister Bridget.

May James rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Monday evening from 4.30 o’c until 6.30 o’c followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon (F42 XT96). Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday morning at 11 o’c with cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, at 2.15 o’c. The O’Neill family very much appreciate your support at this time.
