O’SULLIVAN James (formerly of Carlow Town and Callan, Co. Kilkenny) born 25th January 1955, passed away peacefully on the 6th January 2026, surrounded by family at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin 8.
The former principal of Kilquiggan National School was pre-deceased by his mother Mary, his brother Michael and his sister Maureen.
Sadly missed by his loving children Éamonn, Éilíse and Róisín, grandchildren Eve, Ezra, Alana, Daniel and Luke, his siblings John, Pat, Terry and Mairead, along with extended family and friends.
The funeral will be private for family only.
There will also be a Farewell Gathering for James on Saturday afternoon, January 10th, from 2.00pm at the Seven Oaks Hotel in Carlow Town. All are very welcome to attend the Seven Oaks Hotel.
