James Pious (Jim) Hourican

Hourican (Manchester and late of Cork and Longford) On July 22nd 2013, Peacefully in the loving care of Doctors and Nurses at Fairfield Hospital, Bury, UK. James Pious (Jim), son of late John and Kitty, dearly loved father of Ciaran and Caoimh, devoted granddad to Zac and Joseph and former husband to Helen. Sadly missed by his twin sister Mary, brothers P.J, John, Michael, Pat, Richard, Tom, Frank, Joe, Brendan and Paul, Ciaran's partner Mary O'Sullivan, Caoimh's husband John Nolan, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. He will be especially missed by his brother Frank, Frank’s family Simon, Sharon and Emma and their mother Anne and their families who were so good to Jim during his illness.

Reposing at his brothers’ home at Fremont Drive, Bishopstown, Cork. Removal on Tuesday at 1pm to Church of Real Presence, Curraheen Road, followed by Requiem Mass at 2pm. Funeral afterwards to St. James' Cemetery, Chetwynd.
