The death has occurred of
James REDMOND (Rusty)
REDMOND, James (Rusty), – March 29th 2020 (Donaghmede, formerly of North Strand and former OB Transmission Rigger with RTE), passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at Beaumont Hospital. Devoted husband of Bridget and much loved Dad to Stephen, Lorraine, Rachel and Jennifer, sadly missed by his wife, children and their husbands Vincent and Tom. Cherished Grandad of Stephen, Jamie, David, Nathan, Lauryn, Cameron, Scott, Alex and Amy. He will be so sadly missed by his brothers, sisters, brothers in law and sisters in law and all his former colleagues in RTÉ.

A private funeral will take place for immediate family, due to Government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot do so, please feel free to leave a message in the Condolence Book at the bottom of this page or send on condolences by traditional manner.
A memorial Mass and celebration of James’ life will take place at a later dater.
