February 13th 2023. Peacefully, surrounded by his family and in the loving care of the nurses and staff at St Ursula’s Nursing Home, Bettystown. Predeceased by his daughter Irene. Beloved husband of Kathleen. He will be sadly missed by his wife and children Fergal, Niall, Lorraine, Emer and Barry, his grandchildren Celine, Edel, Alan, Eoin, Ciara, Caitlin and Cian, his great-grandchildren Jack, Sophie, Lily, Liam and Sé, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Watson Funeral Directors, Dyer St, Drogheda (A92 W7EP) on Wednesday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am in Sacred Heart Church, Laytown (A92 PF20) will be streamed live on https://www.youtube.com/user/Finnegandvd (click on ‘live’ icon) Burial afterwards in Reilig Mhuire, Piltown. Family flowers only. House strictly private.
