James (Seamus) Rodgers

James (Seamus) Rodgers, Ballymote, Co Sligo formerly of Sranea, Glencar , Co Leitrim and London.

Peacefully on 1st February, surrounded by his family and in the exceptional and loving care of the the kind carers and nurses at the Nazareth House Nursing Home, Sligo.

Beloved son of the late Annie and James Rodgers, brother of Patsy and husband of Maureen.

James will be forever missed by his loving daughter Vanessa, grandchildren Bethany and Thomas, son-in -law Alan, sister-in-law Joan, cousins, extended family members, good neighbours and friends.

James' mischievous sense of humour, generosity and love of cats will always be fondly remembered by those who knew and loved him.

Funeral Mass at St. Osnat’s Church, Glencar (F91 VK85) on Thursday 5th February at 12pm followed by burial in Killenora cemetery.

The carers and nurses at the Nazareth carried us all along on a cloud of kindness and love in their exceptional care of Daddy. We will be so truly grateful for the rest of our lives. You know who you all are, and how much you meant to us all. Thank you.
