The death has occurred of
James (Shamie) Long
LONG (Cork) On 12th July 2023, peacefully, after short illness, in the presence of his loving family in the tender care of the staff at the Mercy University Hospital, JAMES (SHAMIE), Bunkers Hill, Off St. Mary’s Road and late of Church Street. Beloved son of the late Jerry and Madge, loving brother of Ted, Breeda, Ricky, Rita, Sonny and the late Mary. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Friday (14th July) from 10.00am, family in attendance from 4.00pm with Rosary at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday (15th July) at 10.00am in the Church of the Annunciation, Blackpool. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.
