James (Shay) BOYNE

BOYNE James (Shay) (Donore Avenue, Dublin 8) September 10, 2025. Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He will be dearly missed by his devoted children James, Lorna and Avril, daughter-in-law Gwen, beloved sisters Lily, Rita, Lucy, Tina and late brother Stephen. A much loved grandfather to Jamie, Sophie, Chelsea and Cameron, and a cherished great-grandfather to Caiden. He will also be fondly remembered by his daughters’ partners, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

A special thanks to the Palliative Care Team, Our Lady’s Hospice, especially Ray and Daniella, the Kitchen Staff of Hollywood Ward, St. James’s Hospital and Úna from the Oncology Dept., Tallaght Hospital.

Reposing at his home on Saturday, September 13, from 3pm to 7pm.

Funeral and Cremation Service will take place on Monday afternoon, September 15, at 2:30pm in the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium.
