James (Shay) COX

Shay died suddenly, but peacefully, aged 67 years, on Wednesday 23rd October, 2024, following a short illness, in the kind and compassionate care of the Critical Care Unit at the Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Son of the late James and Philomena Cox and much loved brother of Gerard, Paul, Patricia and Jean. He will be sadly missed by his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, close friends and his Sue Ryder community.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Tuesday morning (Oct.29) from 10.00am, with a funeral service beginning at 11.00am, in the funeral home, followed by a committal ceremony at 12.45 in the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W.
