James (Shay) DUNPHY

DUNPHY (Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) – January 20th 2026 peacefully surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. James (Shay); a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Predeceased by his parents James and Annie and sister Kathleen. Sadly missed by his loving wife, Rose, son, Shane, daughter-in-law, Judith, grandchildren, Brody, Niesha and James, sisters, Mary and Annette, brothers, Patrick and Paul, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Thursday (Jan 22nd) from 5pm until 7pm (all welcome). Funeral on Friday (Jan 23rd) in St. Michael’s Church, Dun Laoghaire arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Michael’s Cremation Services Chapel within the Funeral Home arriving for 11.30am Cremation Service.
