James (Shay) Melvein

Melvein, James (Shay) (Firhouse and formerly from Drimnagh) 11th November 2025, peacefully in Tallaght Hospital, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Carmel and loving dad to Shane, Sinéad and Donna. Shay will be forever loved always remembered by his sister Teresa, brother Leo, his late brother Johnny, daughter-in-law Fiona, Donna’s fiancé Mark, grandchildren Shannen, Caitriona, Luke and Mark, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, special mention to Tony and Helen.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Tallaght Village, on Friday (14th November) from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday (15th November) at 4pm, in Mount Jerome Crematorium, in the Victorian Chapel.
