James Shortall

Shortall, James (Jamsie), (Ballyfermot and formerly of Keogh Square, Inchicore) July 25th 2023. Peacefully in the compassionate care of the staff in Highfield Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his son Denis. Jamsie will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, sons William, James and Joey. Daughters Cathy and Janet, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Patrick, sisters Sheila and Bridie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, wide circle of friends and good neighbours.

Reposing in Stafford’s Funeral Home Ballyfermot on Friday 28th July from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Saturday morning, 29th July 2023, to St. Matthew’s Church, Ballyfermot arriving for 10 am Funeral Mass followed by a cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to the Grattan Unit or Adison Unit in Highfield Nursing Home.

The Shortall family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff in Highfield Nursing Home for their professional, empathetic, and dedicated attention they gave James during his time in their care.
