James Toland

TOLAND, Dr. James (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Derry) January 29th., 2026 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at The Mater Hospital and previously Curam Care Home, Navan Road. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy and much-loved father of Andrew, Lisa, Simon, Alex, Paul and the late Karl. Predeceased by his brother Bobby and sisters Rita, Detta, Pamela, Una, Rhona, Sheila, Sr. Christine and Moira; sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Dave, daughters-in-law Leonie, Fionnuala, Linda, Karen and Nora, sister-in-law Anne, brother-in-law Brian, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Removal on Tuesday evening (February 3rd) to the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock arriving at 6 pm. Funeral on Wednesday morning (February 4th) after Requiem Mass at 11 am followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium (due at 1.30pm).
