James Whelan

The death has occurred of James Whelan Currenrue, Kinvara, Co. Galway. September 25th 2023, peacefully, after a short illness at U.H.G. Predeceased by his parents Martin and Mary, his siblings Paddy, Cecelia and Mary. Sadly missed by his wife Kitty, daughter Susanne, son Brian, brother Mattie, sister Bridie, nephew Jerry, niece Marie, daughter in law Corinna and brothers in law Tommy Dolan and John Harrington, all his relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Corless Funeral Home, Kinvara this Friday evening, from 6 p.m. with removal at 7.30p.m. to St Colman’s Church, Kinvara. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by interment in Mount Cross Cemetery. Mass can be viewed on the Ballinderreen and Kinvara Facebook page.
