On January 18, 2025, suddenly but peacefully at home, in the presence of his loving wife Mary, cherished father of David, Brendan and Emer. He will be sadly missed by his family, daughters-in-law Deirdre and Aoife, grandchildren Níamh, Maeve, Rónán, Fina, Conor, Orla and Cormac, brother-in-law James Fahey (USA), nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Pre-deceased by his brother Donal and niece Jackie.

Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Thursday (Jan. 23) from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral on Saturday (Jan. 25) to St. Anthony’s Church, Clontarf arriving for 2.30pm Requiem Mass. Cremation afterwards in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.
