The death has occurred of James (Jim) Marsden, Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath and formerly of Longford Town and Mohill, Co. Leitrim.

Peacefully in the compassionate and professional care of all the staff of Redwood Ward, Connolly Hospital and in the presence of his loving children. Jim will be sadly missed by his sons John, Finbarr, Donal and daughters Mary and Eilish, his brothers Hugh and Noel, sisters Maeve, Joan, Finola and Regine, eleven grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, friends, relatives and neighbours. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kay and brothers Pat and Aidan.

May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Reposing at McEntaggart’s funeral home, Dunshaughlin (A85 DE70) from 4.00pm until 6.30pm on Wednesday, 20th December 2023. Removal at 6.30pm arriving at St. Patrick and Seachnall’s Church, Dunshaughlin, at 7pm. A Mass of thanksgiving for Jim will be celebrated on Thursday 21st at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please.
