The death has occurred of
Jane Craig Elliott
Loving wife of Simon Elliot and devoted mother of Katie and Jack, passed away today, quietly, in the company of her family, brothers and sisters in Cavan General Hospital.
Reposing at her home until removal on Tuesday morning at 10.00 o'clock to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Clones, for 11.00 o'clock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.
Jane was a loving, intelligent, kind woman full of life and laughter and loved by so many. In her last few days she was dignified and graceful supported by her strong faith and wished to be remembered as a glamorous bright soul adored by all.
She was a talented artist and a dedicated educator and as a Latin Scholar loved the phrase "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero - seize the day and put little trust in tomorrow". We miss her dreadfully.
Deeply regretted by her husband Simon, daughter Katie, son Jack, sisters Margie and Sarah and brothers Leo, John Paul, Fintan and Brian. Pre-deceased by her parents Nuala and Leo and nephew Charlie.
Due to the continued restrictions on public gatherings, Jane's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family (limited to 25) and house strictly private, please.
