Janet Smith
(née Downing)
Peacefully, in the loving care of all at Cobh Community Hospital. Beloved daughter of the late William & Helena Downing, much-loved sister of Nollaig, Helen & Michael, dear aunt of Theresa, Alma,Tara, Leanne, Laura, Kyle, Ava & Cormac. Sadly missed & lovingly remembered by her loving sisters, brother, brothers in law Jim & Kevin, sister-in-law Anne Marie, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, aunts, relatives, neighbours & friends.

Janet's funeral cortège will leave Cahill's funeral home on Tuesday, January 19th, at 1.30pm for a private family only Requiem Mass at 2pm followed by burial in St. Colman's Cemetery. Janet's Requiem Mass will be livestreamed on www.cobhcathedralparish.ie on Tuesday 19th of January at 2pm.
Those who would have liked to attend Janet's Requiem Mass but due to current restrictions cannot do so, can leave a personal message in the condolence section below.
