Janice Shanahan
(née Grogan)
Shanahan Janice (née Grogan) (Lurgan, Kilkenny, Ballyfolan) passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on January 8th 2026. Survived by her beloved husband Eddie, daughters Sarah and Aoife, Mother Anne, and her brother Ian. She will also be sadly missed by all the Grogan’s, Gallery’s, and Shanahan’s, and friends near and far. Many thanks to St. Brigid’s hospice supporting her home care in her final weeks, Izabella, Liliana, and Loredana and the HSE home carers.
May Janice Rest in Peace
Reposing at her home in Ballyfolan Sunday evening 11th January, and Monday afternoon 12th with Funeral Mass in Crosschapel, Blessington Tuesday 13th January at 1.00pm followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium at 2.30pm.
