Jarlath O'Connell

Jarlath O’Connell, Mirehill, Caherlistrane, Co. Galway, 24th June 2025, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Jarlath is pre-deceased by his father Kieran. He is deeply missed by his wife Edel (née Cahill), daughters Shauna and Beth, mother Josie, brother Brian, sister Lorraine, Lorraine’s partner Matt, Brian’s wife Deirdre, nieces Abby and Caoirse, nephews Jamie and Lukas, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home on Thursday evening June 26th from 4pm until 7pm. Removal from his home on Friday afternoon to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church Shrule, for funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in Donaghpatrick cemetery. Mass can be viewed live on http://shruleglencorrib.com/webcam/ Family flowers only by request. Donations if desired to Galway Hospice. House Private please.
