Jean Barron
(née Abbey)
Jean Barron (née Abbey) (Erris Road and late of Phibsboro, Dublin 7) passed away peacefully at her home, holding her children’s hands. Pre-deceased by her devoted husband Shay. Loving mother to Paul and Rose. Beloved daughter of the late Paul and Rose, sister to the late Joey, Johnny and sister-in-law Catherine. She will be sadly missed by her loving sister Rosie and her husband Jimmy, brother Thomas, sister-in-law Bridget, brother-in-law Tony, goddaughter Paula, godsons Stephen Doyle and Stephen O'Connor, all her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, friends, family friends, neighbours, her life long friend Marie and her family, Naoimh, Brendan, Robbie, Antoinette and Cooper. A special thanks to her much loved carers and care givers.
Reposing at her home privately on Monday.
Jean’s Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday morning at 10.30am in St Peter’s Church, Phibsboro, with burial afterwards at Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Capuchin Day Centre and St Francis Hospice.
