Jean Young (née Power) of Cloondara, Oakpark, Tralee and formerly Kilflynn, Co. Kerry, died peacefully on 16th April 2025, beloved wife of Liam dearest mother of Neil, Cian and Claire, daughter of James and Teresa, sister of Caroline, Kathryn, Martin, Tommy and the late Seamus, David and

Kenneth.

Sadly missed by her loving family, grand-daughters Aoife, Clara, Cressie and Alex, daughters-in-law Nicola, Lauren and Sinead, Aunt Nuala, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee on Friday (18th April) from 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Funeral arriving to Our Lady & St. Brendan’s Church, Tralee on Saturday at 12.30 p.m. where the Liturgy of the Word for Jean will be celebrated at 1.00 p.m. (streamed on www.stbrendansparishtralee.net). Interment afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kilflynn.
