The death has occurred of
Jeremiah (Derry) Browne
BROWNE (Gortnaclohy, Skibbereen and formerly Newmarket): on August 25th 2024 peacefully at Bantry General Hospital after a long illness bravely borne. JEREMIAH (Derry) (retired Department of Agriculture Officer) beloved husband of Bridget (Breda) (nee Hurley) much loved father of Anne Marie (Brodrick), Jerry and Philip, brother of the late Phil, Tom and Joan (Keane). Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, son-in-law Jim, grandchildren Erin and William, sister Kathleen (O’Shea), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen on Wednesday, August 28th 2024, at 12 noon. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to Enniskeane Cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired to Cancer Connect.
