Jeremiah passed away unexpectedly on January 2nd 2026.
Beloved son of the late Eugene and Eileen Downing.
Predeceased by his brothers John & Timothy, sister Anne and brothers-in-law Johnny, Paddy & Pat.
Sadly missed by his sisters Mary, Lucy, Eileen & Bridie, brothers-in-law Jerry & John, nieces Eileen, Mary, Brenda, Catherine, Michelle & Margaret, nephews John Patrick, John Eugene, Denis & Michael, grandnieces Leah & Mia, grandnephews Eoin, Killian & Aidan, his many cousins, friends and neighbours.
'MAY JEREMIAH'S GENTLE SOUL REST IN ETERNAL PEACE'
Reposing at Finnegan's Funeral Home, Kenmare on Tuesday evening, January 6th from 5.00pm to 7.00pm followed by removal to St. Michael's Church, Sneem arriving at 7.45pm approx.
Jeremiah's Requiem Mass will take place in St. Michael's Church, Sneem on Wednesday morning, January 7th at 10.00am.
Burial immediately afterwards in Sneem Cemetery.
Jeremiah's Requiem Mass will be livestreamed on:
