Jeremiah (Duke) Devonshire

It is with sadness that we announce the unexpected but peaceful

passing of Jeremiah, on January 18th 2026.

Son of the late Francis Devonshire, brother of the late John, brother-in-law of the late Noreen and uncle of the late Sean and Margaret Devonshire.

Jeremiah will be sadly missed by his niece Aisling, Aisling's partner John Keohane, his grandnephews James and Alan, his grandnieces Katie and Chloe, his relatives, and his very kind, generous neighbours and friends in Watergrasshill.

May Jeremiah Rest In Peace

Jeremiah (Duke), will repose in Hannon's Funeral Home Doneraile P51HN30 on Wednesday evening, January 21st 2026 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm followed by Rosary.

Reception into the Church of the Immaculate Conception Watergrasshill for Requiem Mass on Thursday, January 22nd at 11am followed by burial in Rathcormac cemetery.

Jeremiah's niece Aisling and her family, would like to extend a very special word of thanks to all of Jerry's friends and neighbours in Watergrasshill who supported and looked after Jerry so well for many years.

Your kindness towards him will be forever remembered.
