Jeremiah (Jerry) O'Callaghan
O’CALLAGHAN (Colla, Schull): on September 30th 2025, peacefully surrounded by his family, in the exceptional care of the staff of Schull Community Hospital. JEREMIAH (Jerry) after recently celebrating his 100th birthday, beloved husband of the late Joan, much loved father of Trish (Carroll), John, Michael, Maura (Dennehy), Jer and Joanne (Bennett), grandfather of the late infant Denis Finbarr. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Denis, Finbarr and Anthony, daughters-in-law Angela and Elizabeth, grandchildren Aaron, Shannon, Rosheen, Tadhg, Apryl, Lucy, Annie, Chloe, Emma, Ava, Hollie, Killian, Joey and Danny, great-grandchildren Darragh, Tiah, Croíadh and Bobby, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Arundel & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Schull on Thursday, October 2nd 2025, from 6pm to 8pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Friday, October 3rd 2025, at 2.30pm in St. Mary’s Church, Schull. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards in Schull Cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Schull Community Hospital.
