Late of Duntaheen Road, Kent Street and Knock, Fermoy Co. Cork.

 

To the incomprehensible grief of his family, we announce the sad passing of our beloved husband and father.

Jerry passed away peacefully following a brief illness surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at Ward 3B, Cork University Hospital.

 

Adored husband and best friend of Melinda née Macilwraith, and cherished father of Aoife, Éadaoin, and Oisín, brother of Chris, Pat and the late Margaret, Eily, Séan, Liam, Micky, and especially remembering Jerry’s twin brother Bartholomew.

 

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, dearly loved children, adored son-in-law David, Oisín’s partner Maia, his nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, great neighbours, and many loyal friends.

Jerry will repose at Ronayne’s Funeral Home Fermoy.

Visitation on Friday from 5.00.pm. until 7.00.pm.

Jerry’s funeral cortege will leave his home on Saturday at 1.30.pm. (walking) to St. Patrick’s Church, Fermoy, for Requiem Mass at 2.00.pm.

Burial afterwards in Coole Abbey cemetery (near Fermoy).
