Jeremiah O'Sullivan (Batt)

On September 27th, 2024, JEREMIAH (JERH BATT) (Retired Member of An Garda Síochána) passed away peacefully in the loving care of his family. Sadly missed by his devoted wife Maria (née O’Sullivan), sons Tadgh and Vincent, daughters-in-law Lise and Geraldine, cherished grandchildren Aoibheann, Caoimhe, Noel, Doireann, Alva, Odhran, and Fiach, his brother Bud, sisters Nora, Mary, Nancy and Bridget, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

May he rest in peace.

The O’Sullivan family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care provided by Dr Joan Lynch, Dr Ciara Murphy and staff at Nua Medical, the staff at Newtown Pharmacy, West Cork Palliative Care and Jerh’s home help team.

Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Sunday Sept. 29th from 5pm to 8pm with rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Monday Sept. 30th at 12noon at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry, (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to West Cork Palliative Care, The Primary Care Centre, Dromleigh South, Bantry.
