The death has occurred of
Jerry (Gerald) Sheedy
SHEEDY (Mitchelstown & Doneraile). On June 1st, 2024, unexpectedly, at home, JERRY (GERALD), Solr, Fermoy Road, Mitchelstown and formerly of Ballyhourode, Doneraile. Beloved husband of the late Carmel (née Lynes) and loving son of the late Patsy and Julia. Deeply mourned by his children Pádraig, Derval, Diarmuid, Muireann and Gráinne, his sisters Eva Lane and Úna Relihan.
Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Ella Mae and Toby Cromie, Jack, Dara, Conor and Caoimhe Sheedy, Thomas and Saoirse Hussell, Paddy and Clodagh Styles, his sons-in-law Sam, David and Richard, his daughter-in-law Eva, his niece Celia, his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews and neighbours.
Requiescat in pace.
Reposing at The Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown, P67 DX81 on Sunday evening (9th June) from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Requiem Mass in The Church of Mary Without Sin, Mitchelstown on Monday (10th June) at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Brigown New Cemetery.
Jerry’s Funeral Mass will be live streamed via www.mitchelstownparish.ie.
