Jerry (Jeremiah) Buttimer

BUTTIMER (Benvoirlich Estate, Bishopstown and late of Deshure, Tarelton). On February 2nd, 2022, peacefully, at Cork University Hospital, JERRY(Jeremiah), (former CEO and Chair of the Board of Directors of COPE Foundation), beloved husband of the late Nancy (née Kelleher), loving father of Jerry, Mary, John and William, devoted grandad of Éabha, Sinéad, Diarmuid, Máiréad, Áine and Aoife, brother of Billy, Nora Anne and the late Mary, Denis, Jo and Andy.

Sadly missed by his loving family, brother, sister, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Carmel, sons-in-law Jerry and Conchobhar and John’s partner Don, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Thursday (February 3rd) from 5.00pm to 8.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon on Friday (February 4th) in the Church of the Real Presence, Curraheen Road, Bishopstown. Funeral afterwards to St. Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom.
