Jerry O'Donovan

O'Donovan (Dunmanway Road, Bandon) on February 12th 2024 peacefully at the Bon Secours Hospital. Jerry (ex Bandon Co-op), devoted husband of Lily (nee Sexton) and adored father of Lillian (McCarthy), Rosaleen (O'Donovan), Geraldine (McNamee), Fiona, and Niamh (Cullinane).

 

Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, Jerry's family Maureen and Ann, grandchildren Louise, Tristan, Daniel, Orla, Susie, Ronan and Holly, great-grandson Raphael, sons-in-law Michael Joe, James, Bernard and Phillip, Louise's partner Fred, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, kind neighbours, relatives, especially Maureen and Billy, and many friends.

 

Jerry will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm (pausing for prayers at 6.30pm).

 

Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Bandon which will be livestreamed on www.bandonparish.ie/, funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.

 

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to St. Patrick's Church Organ Fund.
