Jim Byrne

James (Jim) Byrne, formerly of St. Fiaccs’s Terrace, Graiguecullen, Carlow and Wilton, Cork, passed away peacefully in St. Lukes Hospital, Kilkenny, on Friday 21st Feb 2025.

Beloved husband of Máire, dear father of Aisling, Fiona, Ronan and predeceased by Fiach and baby Cian.

Sadly missed by his sons in law Seán and Peter and daughters in law Caitríona and Brenda and grandchildren Richeal, Seán, Rúadhán, Fionán, Clara, Cian, Ava, Meadhbh, Hannah and Odhran.

Cherished brother of Kitty, Angela and predeceased by Marie, Joan, Margaret, Bonnie, Betty and Jack.

Fondly remembered by extended family and friends.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Graiguecullen (Eircode R93 ET80) on Monday 24th Feb 2025 from 4pm concluding with prayers at 7pm.

Removal from there on Tuesday 25th Feb 2025 at 10:30 to St. Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for funeral mass at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
