Jim Clancy
CLANCY (Western Road, Clonakilty): on June 6th 2023 peacefully surrounded by his family and in the excellent care of the staff at Clonakilty Community Hospital. JIM (late of Thomas Hill & Co.) beloved husband of the recently deceased Bridie (nee Hooper), dearly loved father of Noel, John, Katherine (Wycherley) and the late Ben and Michael, brother of the late Tom and John. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Billy, daughters-in-law Mary and Bríd, sister Kitty (O’Donovan), grandchildren Aoife, Maeve, Eveleen, Sinead, Killian, Elissa, Olin, Jack, Isabel and William, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Friday, June 9th 2023, from 6pm to 7.30pm with Prayers at 7.15pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, June 10th 2023, at 2pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty. This will be livestreamed via www.clonakiltyparish.ie/live. Funeral afterwards to St Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.
