JIM COLBERT (Ballinacurra and Whitegate). Peacefully on February 18th, 2024.

 

Son of the late James and Mary (née Lane) of the Corner House Bar, Main Street, Ballinacurra.

 

Beloved husband of Caroline (née Fraher) and a loving father to Morgan, Karen, Gary, James and Kate. Grandfather to Jack, Isabel, Oskar, Eoghlan, Ivy, Billy, Harry, JJ and Charlotte. Loving brother to Helen, Geraldine and the late Eamonn. Godfather to Jason. Father-in-law to Sorcha, Duncan, Suzanne, Katrine and Paul. Dear friend to Paddy Crowe, Brian Kennedy and Hugh Carson.

 

Jim will be mourned by his nephews, nieces, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family and friends and his children's mother Betty (née O’Connor).

 

May Jim Rest In Peace.

 

Jim will repose at Hyde’s Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton on Monday 19th from 5pm-7pm.

Requiem Mass at 2pm on Tuesday 20th in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton followed by a private Cremation Service.

Mass will be available to view live on the Parish TV Saorview Channel and on www.midletonparish.ie

 

Sincere gratitude to Dr Evelyn McGrath and Professor Paul Gallagher for their compassionate care for Jim and support of Caroline in recent years.
