Jim Collins

COLLINS, Jim (Halldene, Bishopstown, Cork / Mombasa & Nairobi, Kenya). It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Jim who passed away peacefully, on September 24th, 2025, surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff at Cork University Hospital. Jim, beloved husband and best friend of Noeleen, loving father of Ann, Maeve, Brian, Mark and Michael, predeceased by his first wife Clare (O’Halloran), brother-in-law Barry Murphy and sister-in-law Carmel Collins.

 

Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers Michael and Kevin, sisters Joan, Berna and Mary, sons-in-law Eddie and Brian, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

 

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Monday (September 29th) in St. Joseph’s S.M.A. Church, Wilton which can be viewed
