Jim passed away peacefully, on the 24th January 2026, surrounded by his loving family, in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Francis Hospice, Raheny. Beloved husband of Geraldine and adored father of Éamonn, Evelyn and Orla. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, treasured grandson Leo, daughter-in-law Aisling, niece Anne, brother-in-law Dave, the extended Conway and Quinlivan families, and his friends. He is pre-deceased by his sister Rufina.

Reposing at the Fanagan-Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Monday evening (26th January) from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock.
Jim’s Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of St. John the Baptist, Clontarf on Tuesday morning (27th January) at 10 o’clock. A private committal will take place thereafter.
Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to St. Francis Hospice in recognition of their excellent care afforded to Jim and the Conway family in his final days.
