The death has occurred of
JIM FURNEY
FURNEY (Burke’s Hill, Cork): On October 28th, 2014, peacefully in the presence of his family, in the exceptional care of the staff at the Cardiac ITU, Cork University Hospital, JIM, dearly loved and loving husband of Redempta and the late Breda and dearly loved father of John, Elizabeth, Mary, Jim, Hilary, Aidan, Brian, Deirdre, Audrey, Ruth, Liam and Robert. Sadly missed by his family, his cherished grandchildren, his brother Gerry, sisters-in-law Carmel and Rosalie, daughters-in-law and sons-in-law Linda, John, Colum, Arleen, Peter, Maryam, Norma, Blaine, Sean and Simon, friends, neighbours and fellow-parishioners.
May he rest in peace.
Reception at 8.00pm Thursday (30th) at Church of Our Lady Crowned, Upper Mayfield. Requiem Mass on Friday (31st) at 12.00 noon, followed by burial at St. Finbarr’s Cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Simon Community and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
