Jim (James) Callan

Tallaght, Dublin

Callan, Jim (James), Old Bawn Way, Tallaght 3rd April 2025. Jim died suddenly after a long illness, bravely borne, at home in the loving care of his family. Beloved husband of Phil for close to 54 years, who is devastated at his loss. Devoted father and sadly missed by his beloved children Philip, Gillian, Derek and Niall, precious grandchildren, Emma, Daniel, Ella and Lucy, daughter-in-law Petra, sons-in-law Will and Cathal and not forgetting his four-legged pal Rosco. Jim will be sadly missed by all who knew him especially his close friends “brother” Don, Hank and his cousin Mark.

 

Special thanks to Doctor William Kinsella for his kind and sensitive care of Jim and to the Palliative Care Team from Our Lady’s Hospice and his Carers from Caremark.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Main Street, Tallaght Village, D24 Y44A on Saturday from 3pm until 5pm.

Funeral in the Church of Saint Martin de Porres, Aylesbury, Tallaght on Monday April 7th at 12.30pm followed by burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery.
