Jim (James) Flanagan

It is with great sadness we announce the death of our adored father Jim (James) Flanagan, Caherfeenick, Cree, peacefully at his home on the 30th August 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Preceded by his late wife Mary Flanagan nee Tubridy, mother Ellie Flanagan, father John Flanagan, brothers Andrew, Patrick, Johnfrancis, Michael, baby brother, brother in law TJ Tubridy and son in law Bill (William) McMahon.

James will be greatly missed by his adored children Patsy, Johnny, Morgan, Patrick, Nuala, Andrew, Cathriona and Aoife, Grandchildren Andrew, Deirdre, Pearce, Liam, Ellie, Lily-Rose, Mila, TJ and Harper, Son in law Mal and daughter in law Silvy, sister Maureen Ryan, sister in law Biddy Flanagan, niece’s Helen and Rita and nephews Michael and James of Caherfeenick, his nephews in Wexford and nieces and nephews in England, his extended family, friends and neighbours.

James will repose at his home (V15YK22) on Sunday the 31st August from 5pm to 7pm.

House is strictly private outside these times.

Arriving for funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church Cree, V15H337 on September 1st at 11am with burial after in Doonmore Cemetery.

Family flowers only and respectfully no mass cards by request, donations if desired in lieu of Milford hospice.
