The death has occurred of Jim (James) McGovern, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family in his 90th year.

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary and his sister Rose. Jim, much loved husband of Josephine (née Keigher), father of Mary, Olive, Breda and Niall and adored grand-father of Caoimhe, Oscar, Ethan, Aoife, Maebh, Emily, Cathal, Cillian and Liam.

Jim will be greatly missed by his family, his sister Maureen, his sons-in-law Frank (Byrne), Sheldon (Norton) and Eric (Praud), his daughter-in-law Breege, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many, many good friends.

Reposing at his home in Shannagh Grove (N41 HF20), Mohill, County Leitrim on Monday, July 22nd, 2024 from 4pm until 7pm followed by prayers.

Removal on Tuesday to St. Patrick's Church, Mohill for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial afterwards in Mohill Cemetery. Jim's funeral mass may be viewed on www.churchtv.ie/mohill
